Laura Maasdam

At Sixth Wing, our goal is to help you reach new levels of awareness and achieve your peak performance. We offer one on one executive coaching, group coaching and training on topics such as negotiation and conflict resolution. 

Prior to co-founding Sixth Wing, Laura flew helicopters in the Navy then worked as a speaker, trainer, and coach at Prism Learning Group and The McChrystal Group. Laura is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and Harvard’s JFK School of Government. She is also a wife and mother to two fun and curious sons.

Linda Swindling

Negotiation speaker, author, and expert Linda Swindling, JD, CSP, empowers leaders to negotiate everything from big deals to workplace drama using proven strategies that drive results without driving others away. Linda learned first-hand how to negotiate from her experiences in the courtroom and the boardroom. A respected mediator and “recovering” attorney, Linda attended Harvard’s Program on Negotiation. She also spent years advising and coaching CEOs and key executives while a Chair at Vistage.

A TEDxSMU speaker and past president of the National Speakers Association/North Texas, Linda’s engaging programs are based on original research and more than two decades of experience. Linda is a frequent media guest, a Board Certified Coach, and the author of more than 20 books.

Lynda Katz Wilner, MS, CCC-SLP

Lynda is the founder of Successfully Speaking, a communication consulting firm that helps individuals and teams SPEAK, SOUND, and LOOK like Leaders. The customized training includes professional speaking skills, voice improvement, and foreign accent/regional dialect modification for native and non-native English speakers.

Lynda published numerous accent modification training materials using the RULES approach (RULES, RULES by the Sound, Medically Speaking: Accent Modification for the Medical Profession, Medically Speaking RULES, Medically Speaking Idioms, Boston RULES, and more). She also published the book and learning platform, Miss Persnickety’s Guide to Everyday Misspeaks and the online courses: SPEAK, SOUND, and LOOK Like a Leader, Master the American Accent, and Communication Skills for Courtroom Interpreters.

Lynda has a master’s degree in speech and language pathology from the University of Michigan and began her career as a speech and language pathologist at a major teaching hospital. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a professional member of NSA (National Speakers Association) and is a Certified Virtual Presenter.
