Shelli Vasser Gilliam Helps People Find Their Unique Voice

Shelli Vasser Gilliam comes to Global Public Speaking with extensive leadership experience and a passion for helping people find their unique voice, build their confidence and communication skills, and use their voice to speak up. Her compelling personal history with public speaking forced her to overcome her fear and step into the spotlight. 

Shelli is a multi-talented professional with a passion for servant leadership and practicing excellence. For over twelve years, through her boutique consulting firm Vasser Gilliam LLC, Shelli produced meetings and events and helped nonprofits raise awareness and develop corporate support. She regularly collaborated with teams and used her many skills and experiences to manage complex projects while bridging the gap in resources necessary to achieve goals. 

As a hospitality industry influencer, Shelli’s impact can be felt at a grassroots level and beyond, as she is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and currently serves as the Potomac Chapter’s Immediate Past President having completed the role of President in June 2022. Shelli graduated from Virginia Tech, is a Certified Meeting Professional, and has a Sustainable Events Professional Certificate and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate.
